Being a single mum of 2 it hasn’t always being the easiest of times. My 2 young children & I were homeless for 8 months, with nowhere to turn to as I am a foreign national. But I’m a believer that there is always light at the end of the tunnel and as luck would have it I was directed to Christians Against Poverty (CAP). I met with some really good people, have been given a lot of support with a budget and they have put a plan together with the people I owe money to. I’ve also been directed to Coventry Food bank Run by Trussell Trust & Langley House Trust, Project New Life Cycles, who provided me and my children with bikes, which in turn made them the happiest bunnies ever! It has made a huge difference to our lives already and as a family we are more connected going on rides to the local parks and keeping us active. Seeing the smiles on my children’s faces is priceless. All we want in life is the simplest things like the old adage says the best things in life are free. Thank you & bless you all at Langley.
